Underground Railroad Scavenger Hunt

The Underground Railroad was not a railroad at all. It was a network of Americans, both black and white, dedicated to destroying the institution of slavery by helping slaves escape to freedom.  In this scavenger hunt you will be the escaping slave on the road to freedom. Answer the questions as you go.

"You are a slave.
Your body, your time, your very breath belong to a farmer in 1850s Maryland. Six long days a week you tend his fields and make him rich. You have never tasted freedom. You never expect to."
